Dr. Matthew Saper

Dr. Matthew Saper grew up in Winnipeg, MB playing hockey.  An athletic scholarship took him to Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He graduated from Clarkson with a BSc. Engineering & Management. After two more years playing hockey professionally, Dr. Saper attended dental school in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba. He subsequently attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine for his residency in Post-Doctoral Endodontics.  Upon graduating from Harvard, he and his wife move to Edmonton and where he established his office in November of 2010.

In 2016, Dr. Saper moved his practice to the current location, 7019 104th Street and rebranded the practice now called South Edmonton Endodontics.

Dr. Saper and his wife recently had their first child, Avery.

I have been with South Edmonton Endodontics team for 4 years now. After graduating from Confederation College in Thunder Bay Ontario with honors in 2009, I decided to move to Edmonton to start my dental career. I remain a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistant Association since 2009.

I am caring and compassionate with the needs of all patients that are presented in our dental chair. I strive to understand patient needs, and to make them as comfortable as possible.

Away from work I enjoy animals, outdoor activities such as walking and hiking, trying new restaurants, movies, paint nights and relaxing.

I have been with South Edmonton Endodontics since summer 2017. I am originally from Nanaimo, British Columbia. I then travelled to Edmonton, Alberta in 2009 and have called it home ever since.

I am happily married with two young boys. We recently purchased our first home near Rundle Park and we enjoy going for walks with our dogs all year round, outdoor activities and playing family board games.
